How to apply

Fans could sign in to their One Club account on TheOpen.com and click the 'Enter Ballot' button, to progress through the application process and make ticket selections, before the Ticket Ballot closed on Tuesday 25 July 2023.

Following submission of a ballot application, you will have received an e-mail confirming the details of your application. This email confirmation allows you to easily review the tickets you applied for as part of the process. It is important that you have only applied for tickets you wish to purchase, as at the payment stage of the ballot process, you will not have the choice to select tickets from your allocation; you must either purchase all tickets you have been allocated in the ballot process, or forfeit your allocation.

How it workED

The ballot for tickets to attend The 152nd Open at Royal Troon in 2024 was open from Tuesday 27 June to Tuesday 25 July 2023. One Club members could select and amend ticket preferences as part of the application process, until the ballot’s closure in July 2023.

All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be e-mailed in waves throughout August and September informing them of whether their Ticket Ballot entry has been successful.

By the end of September, everyone who entered the ballot will have been notified as to whether they were partially successful, fully successful, or unsuccessful in their ticket ballot application.

If you are offered tickets as part of the ballot process, you will not be able to pick and choose which tickets to purchase, you must purchase the full allocation you are offered.
