Wimbledon Sunday at The Open
Golf fans attending the first practice day of The 145th Open on Sunday 10 July will be able to watch the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles final at a dedicated large screen viewing area at Royal Troon.
After defeating Tomas Berdych in straight sets in the semi-final, Andy Murray will play Canada’s Milos Raonic in Sunday’s final. Murray is aiming to claim his second Wimbledon title following his 2013 triumph, which saw him become the first British player in 77 years to lift the trophy.
Wimbledon Sunday at The Open promises to create a festival atmosphere for sports fans. Spectators can watch some of the world’s best players practising on golf’s greatest stage, and also enjoy the tennis while relaxing on giant beanbag chairs throughout the large screen viewing area. There will also be a full range of food and beverage options available as well as a soft play area for children.
Practice day tickets are available from £15 and children under the age of 16 attend free of charge on every day of the Championship. New Twilight Tickets are also available for £25 providing entry to The Open from 4pm on Thursday and Friday. See www.TheOpen.com/Tickets for full details.
