It is anticipated that given the high number of spectators attending The 146th Open at Royal Birkdale, the surrounding road network will be busy. To ensure the best possible flow of traffic, the local roads authorities and police are urging all motorists to use the designated traffic routes, which will be clearly signed by The AA. Spectators are advised to turn off their satellite navigation systems and follow the appropriate signage.
