Live at The Range in partnership with HSBC

Back again for this year’s Open, HSBC will be partnering with Live At The Range [LATR].

Working together with The R&A, the broadcast feed offers fans an exclusive view of the players' daily preparations on the Practice Ground, including listening to insightful conversations with their coaches and caddies as they go through their pre-round routines, and watching their ball flight using TopTracer technology.

Live At The Range will be shown across The Open’s own social channels, including The Open app and YouTube, as well as distributed around the world through official broadcast partners at the following times:

HSBC Clubhouse

Siting adjacent to the HSBC Golf Zone, the HSBC Clubhouse is open to all HSBC Customers plus one guest. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, it's the perfect place to unwind away from the on-course action.

HSBC customers can enjoy complimentary gifts and light refreshments, while stocks last, and for those in need of something more substantial, you can purchase a selection of locally sourced delicacies and beverages. While you’re taking a breather, catch all the action live on TV.

Stay tuned for scheduled appearances from HSBC Ambassadors and special guests during Championship days, including a visit from the Claret Jug. 

 

HSBC Golf Zone

Open to all spectators, the HSBC Golf Zone is situated in the bustling Championship Village.

Free to enter, the zone features captivating activities catered to all age groups and golfing abilities.

Exciting activities include golf simulators, giving visitors the chance to win tickets to the AIG Women's Open, the popular 'Putt the Planet' challenge, the HSBC Golf Roots chipping challenge, and an entertaining and sharable photo opportunity.

Spectators can win a range of spot-prizes, including tickets to the AIG Women’s Open or The 152nd Open, by taking part in the ‘Hook-a-Flamingo’ activation.

You can also enter the Grand Prize draw for a chance to win a fourball at Royal Troon.

HSBC GOLF ROOTS

Together with The Golf Foundation we are proud to have opened up a world of opportunity for children in golf.

HSBC Golf Roots is a grassroots junior development initiative that promotes the sport in schools, the community and golf clubs across the country, using golf to teach important life skills such as confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

Over the past decade, HSBC Golf Roots has:

  • Introduced over 5 million youngsters to golf
  • Given 500,000 pupils a taster session from a PGA professional in their own school
  • Enabled 250,000 children to visit a golf club
  • Given 1 million school children the opportunity to take part in HSBC Golf Roots competitions through the School Games
  • Trained over 10,000 secondary-age sports leaders as volunteers to run Tri-Golf and GolfSixes format.
