The 149th Open at Royal St George's
The 149th Open at Royal St George’s is part of the UK Government’s Events Research Programme.
Covid status certification will be tested, via the use of negative Lateral Flow Tests (LFT) or proof of full vaccination via the NHS Covid Pass, to explore all possible ways of allowing greater numbers of fans to return to events as safely and efficiently as possible.
The Events Research Programme is a UK Government programme facilitated by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). It aims to provide additional evidence and mitigations for government, event organisers, and consumers on reopening events at fuller capacities.
