149th St Georges Hero Image 2020

One dramatic final day is in store at The 148th Open and golf fans simply cannot get enough with tickets for The Open 2020 selling even faster than those at Royal Portrush.

More than 50 per cent of tickets for Royal St George’s have already been sold with Weekly and Weekend Bundles sold out ahead of The 149th Open.

Kent is set to play host to a fascinating four days of golf and with tickets selling fast, fans are being urged to make sure they get their hands on them to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are on priority sale to members of The One Club which is free to join, with the Priority Window closing in two weeks’ time.

Next year will be the first time the battle for the Claret Jug has been contested on the historic Kent links since 2011, when Darren Clarke was crowned Champion Golfer of the Year.

Emotions ran high as the Northern Irishman won his maiden major with a three-shot victory over Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson.

The popular victory was the realisation of a childhood dream for Clarke, having spent hours in front of the TV watching every shot of The Open when he was growing up.

Next year will therefore provide a perfect opportunity for golfers old and new to make sporting history when they tee off on July 16, 2020 – and it’s an occasion not to be missed.

Don’t miss out on the drama of The 149th Open at Royal St George’s and book your ticket today. Priority window ends in two weeks!
