Last season, he posted his best major finish, a tie for fourth at The Masters, where he missed out on joint second place by only one stroke.
As an amateur he tied for 16th in the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach – unusually only good enough on that occasion to be joint low amateur with Scott Langley.
