Tyrrell Hatton

Hatton
Runner-up to Scottie Scheffler at last season’s prestigious Players Championship in Florida and to Ryan Fox in the DP World Tour’s flagship BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

Runner-up to Scottie Scheffler at last season’s prestigious Players Championship in Florida and to Ryan Fox in the DP World Tour’s flagship BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

Hatton then became a key man in Europe’s regaining of the Ryder Cup in Rome in September. After two wins alongside Jon Rahm and a half partnering Viktor Hovland, Hatton's singles victory over reigning Champion Golfer of the Year Brian Harman took Luke Donald’s side to the verge of success.

Reached fifth in the world with his four-stroke victory in the 2021 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the win coming just three months after he captured the BMW PGA Championship by the same margin.

Also in 2020, Hatton landed his first PGA Tour title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, only his second event back from wrist surgery.

Made his Ryder Cup debut in 2018 in Paris, where he and Paul Casey beat then world No 1 Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler.

Joint-fifth in the 2016 Open at Royal Troon and tied for sixth at Royal Portrush in 2019, while his other tour triumphs include two Alfred Dunhill Links Championships in Scotland, the first of them including a course record-equalling 62 at St Andrews.
