GREENSIDE CLUB TICKETS

A Greenside Club ticket, formerly known as a Composite ticket, includes the following, all on a weekly basis:

• Access to the Course
• A reserved seat in an exclusive stand at the 18th Green
• Access to the Club Marquee (Bar, TV, Links Restaurant, Snack Bar etc.)
• Access to the Greenside Club Marquee (lounge and light food area, complimentary tea, coffee and newspapers)
• A copy of the official Programme
• An Information Guide (drawsheet) per day
• A Car Park Label (optional)

RESERVED GRANDSTAND SEATS

This badge is only available on a weekly basis and must be used in conjunction with a ticket permitting course access. There will also be public grandstand seats throughout the course which are free of charge. These are all available daily on a first come, first served basis.

FAIRWAYS CLUB

Access to a private marquee, the Fairways Club offers a lounge, bar, snack facility, with complimentary tea and coffee. You may wish to purchase food and drink from our great range of offers on sale. This badge must be used in conjunction with a ticket permitting course access.

Please note that owing to the limited number of Greenside Club, Reserved Grandstand Seats and Fairways Club tickets available, a maximum of four per application is permitted. Please advise if you wish your name to be placed on a waiting list for cancellations.

GRANDSTANDS
Approximately 20,000 seats will be located around the course and at the Practice Ground. Please note that smoking and alcohol are not permitted on grandstands.

SCOREBOARDS
A comprehensive service throughout the course and Tented Village will keep spectators fully informed.

LARGE SCREENS
Keep up-to date with the action on the large screens located in the Tented Village.

ACCESS TO THE COURSE
Spectators can move freely around the golf course but please stay outside the ropes. Controlled crossing points, which are clearly marked by yellow signposts, should be used when crossing fairways.

FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED
Viewing areas have been set aside at a number of greens for those in wheelchairs. For further information on viewing areas, car parking and all other matters, please go to

STEP LADDERS
Step ladders or similar are not permitted within the paygates and should not be brought to the course.

CAMERAS
Cameras are not permitted on Championship days.

OFFICIAL PROGRAMMES
Programmes may be purchased from kiosks at the Championship. In addition, they will be available by post from Friday 8 July 2011. Ring Freephone number 0808 100 7377 with your credit or debit card details. Alternatively, you can order on the internet from www.theopen.com or www.pplsport.com

INFORMATION CENTRE
The Championship Information Centre, situated within the Tented Village, can offer assistance with travel and general enquiries, including information about The Open 2013 at Muirfield.

SAFETY
Please be reminded that under wet conditions the ground may become slippery and appropriate footwear should be worn.

MEDICAL AND FIRST AID
Full medical and first aid facilities will be available at several points around the course and in the Tented Village.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclemental weather, it may be necessary to evacuate grandstands. Please observe the instructions of marshals.

CATERING FACILITIES
There are many licensed catering points both on course and within the Tented Village.

CRECHE FACILITY
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this facility for children of the general public, given the size of the expected crowd.

BANKING SERVICE

HSBC, the world’s local bank and new Patron of The Open Championship, will be providing a comprehensive banking service, including several ATMs within the Tented Village. At the Championship there will be no charge to non-HSBC customers for using the ATMs.

BINOCULARS
Nikon is a Patron of The Open Championship and a full range of binoculars is available for sale or hire from the Nikon Marquee in the Tented Village.

THE R&A SWINGZONE
Free lessons available all week from PGA professionals in The R&A Swingzone facility

HSBC GOLF ZONE
Following the introduction of HSBC’s Golf Zone last year, this interactive facility in the Tented Village will once again be open to all spectators.

LEFT LUGGAGE FACILITIES
There will be several complimentary left luggage facilities located throughout the Tented Village, operated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that security bag searches may be in operation.

OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE
This will include an exclusively designed Open Championship Collection. Ralph Lauren will provide a complete selection of RLX Golf and Polo Golf apparel and headwear for both men and women. Outerwear, golf accessories and kidswear will also feature the official Open Championship 2012 logos. Bag drop, onward shipping and VAT refund facilities will be available.

AUTOGRAPHS
To help create a more orderly environment for those seeking autographs and to assist players, one specific area has been designated for signing autographs. Spectators should not ask players for autographs outwith this area.

THE SENIOR OPEN 2012
The 2012 The Senior Open Championship will be held at Turnberry from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 July 2012.

Spectators who hold a valid admission ticket from the previous week’s Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes will be entitled to purchase a half price Senior Open admission ticket at the paygates.
