International Final Qualifying

International Final Qualifying (IFQ) events for The Open Championship were introduced in 2004 and are held on five continents to give more players from around the world the chance to gain direct entry into golf’s oldest championship.

IFQ events for The Open Championship 2013 at Muirfield will be as follows:

IFQ — Australasia: 29 & 30 January 2013, Kingston Heath Golf Club, Melbourne, Australia
IFQ — Asia: 28 February & 1 March 2013, Amata Spring Country Club, Bangkok , Thailand
IFQ — Africa: 5 & 6 March 2013, Royal Johannesburg & Kensington, South Africa
IFQ — America: 20 May 2013, Gleneagles Country Club, Plano, Texas, USA
IFQ — Europe: 24 June 2013, Sunningdale Golf Club, Berkshire, England

Regional Qualifying

Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship 2013 will be played on 24 June 2013. Venues: Abridge, Bruntsfield Links, Buckinghamshire, Clitheroe, East Sussex National. Hankley Common, Little Aston, Luffenham Heath, Mere, Moortown, Northumberland, Remedy Oak, The Island, The London.

Local Final Qualifying

Local Final Qualifying for the Open Championship 2013 will be played on 02 July 2013 at Dunbar, Gullane No 1, The Musselburgh and North Berwick.
