Brendon Todd ultimately qualified for The 152nd Open via the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, part of The Open Qualifying Series.

Will Zalatoris initially claimed the one spot on offer at Bay Hill to the highest-placed finisher not already exempt for Royal Troon.

However, Zalatoris subsequently earned an exemption as one of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking on Week 21.

As a result, Todd - the next highest finisher at the Arnold Palmer Invitational not already in the field for Troon - can now look forward to making a fifth Open appearance this July.

Todd finished tied-sixth at Bay Hill, but the six players above or alongside him on the leaderboard were already exempt through other routes prior to the closing date for entries.
