Celebrating the two-time Champion Golfer

Padraig Harrington celebrates his Open victory at Royal Birkdale in 2008

Padraig Harrington, the Champion Golfer of the Year in 2007 and 2008, turned 49 on Monday.

To celebrate the Irishman's birthday, we are showcasing our wide range of content on the two-time Open Champion.

Harrington's Chronicles of a Champion Golfer film, available below exclusively to members of The One Club, details the relentless pursuit of perfection that underpinned his journey to Open glory.

Members of The One Club can also watch the Official Films of each of Harrington's two Open triumphs. The story of his dramatic 2007 victory at Carnoustie is available here, while his successful title defence at Royal Birkdale can be viewed here.

In recent months, Harrington's long-term caddie Ronan Flood has provided unique insight into those successes. Click here for Flood's Caddie Stories episode focused on the thrilling finish at Carnoustie, and here for his take on Royal Birkdale and the stunning 5-wood that sealed Harrington's win.

Additionally, The Open Podcasts has featured two episodes with Harrington as a guest. He chatted to George Harper Jnr in episode eight of The Open Conversation, before joining five-time Champion Golfer Tom Watson, Soly from No Laying Up and the BBC's Iain Carter in a special, not-to-be missed round table podcast on the The Open For The Ages. Both episodes can be enjoyed below.
