Located in the heart of Ayrshire's golf coast, Dundonald Links is a spectacular venue that has recently hosted both the men's and women's Scottish Opens.
The original layout was designed by Willie Fernie, the Champion Golfer of 1883, and opened in 1911, yet the site was left almost unrecognisable after the course was commandeered by the army during World War II.
Following the purchase of Dundonald Links by Loch Lomond Golf Club in 2003, California-based architect Kyle Phillips was tasked with creating a world-class modern links at the historic venue.
The new-look Dundonald has gone on to welcome a series of prestigious events, including the R&A Boys' Amateur Championship in 2014 and was the most recent host of the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open.
Former world No1 Lee Westwood was among the players to book a place at The 153rd Open through Final Qualifying at Dundonald Links in 2025.
