Kolon The 68th KOREA Open Golf Championship

Jiho Yang has qualified for The 154th Open after winning The 68th Korea Open Golf Championship at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club.

So impressive was Yang over the first three days of the Championship (shooting 65, 67, 67), that he was able to brush off a four-over-par final round – for a nine-under-par tally of 275 – finishing four strokes clear of Sweden’s Charlie Lindh.

It was Yang’s third win on Korean PGA Tour following his successes in the 2022 KB Financial LiiV Championship and the 2023 Hana Bank Invitational Championship.

Yang subsequently took the one place on offer for Royal Birkdale with the KOLON Korea Open being part of the Open Qualifying Series.
