The Open Qualifying Series USA

The John Deere Classic returns to The Open Qualifying Series, with two places available sat next year’s Championship at Royal Troon.

It will be staged at TPC Deere Run in Illinois between 4-7 July 2024, the penultimate opportunity for players to book their spot at golf’s original major.

Sepp Straka won last year’s event; his 21-under-par total included a final-round 62, and, remarkably, it could have been even better, had the Austrian not faltered at the 72nd hole.

Straka finished in a tie for second place, behind Brian Harman, at The Open at Royal Liverpool just a few weeks later.

The John Deere Classic has been dominated by American golfers over the years, with Harman, Jordan Spieth, Zach Johnson and three-time winner Steve Stricker among the players to have tasted success in the prestigious event.
