Listen to The Story of The 150th Open

Cameron Smith

As The 151st Open draws near, you can whet your appetite for the Championship at Royal Liverpool with a new season of The Open Podcasts.

Our sixth season of original documentaries has begun with a two-part special on The Story of The 150th Open, giving you the chance to relive an historic week at St Andrews.

Both parts are now available to listen to via the player below, along with every previous episode from The Open Podcasts.

Two Tales of The Open podcasts will follow later in June, as we take deep dives into Thomas Levet and Thomas Bjorn’s most memorable experiences at golf’s original Championship.

All focus will then turn to The 151st Open, courtesy of The 151st Show! The three part-series, running from July 4, will keep you up to date with all you need to know ahead of Royal Liverpool, and will include a video podcast with Di Dougherty, Amy Boulden and Rob Lee, direct from Hoylake, on The Open's YouTube channel.

And if you like what you hear, over 50 additional episodes of The Open Podcasts are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.

Follow now and hear some of the finest documentaries in sport, telling the most fascinating stories from The Open with commentary, drama and plenty of familiar voices.
