The Ticket Ballot for The 152nd Open at Royal Troon will be open from Tuesday 27 June to Tuesday 25 July.
Ahead of the ballot opening, here is some guidance on how to enhance your chances of attending the 2024 Championship.

1) Demand Indicators
Each day of the event will have a demand indicator next to it as part of the ticket selection process in the ballot. Increase your chance of success by avoiding days that show as ‘High Demand’.
2) Practice Days
Ever since The Open has operated a ticket ballot, ticket applications on Practice Days have been lower compared to Championship Days. Including Practice Day tickets in your application will very likely give you a greater chance of attending The Open at Royal Troon.
The Open’s Practice Days are a fantastic way to attend the Championship, as fans get closer to the action, have the opportunity to interact with the players, and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere ahead of the competition.

3) One Club Advantage
Fans with a Mastercard who upgrade their One Club membership to become One Club Advantage members, will receive an enhanced chance in the Ticket Ballot. You can upgrade your One Club membership for free to give yourself the best chance of success in securing tickets for next summer’s Championship at Royal Troon.

4) Friends and Family
Remind your friends and family to enter the ballot. Make sure that the people you wish to attend the event with have also submitted a ballot application to enhance your chances. Individuals should only submit one ballot application per person (any additional applications will be discounted from the process), but we would encourage all individuals who wish to attend The 152nd Open to submit an application.
