This week’s Amateur Championship at Ballyliffin kicks off a summer of live golf on R&A TV, where One Club members can watch the best action from five elite Championships including The Open.
Live coverage of The Amateur Championship, the Women’s Amateur Championship, The 152nd Open, the AIG Women’s Open and Curtis Cup will all feature on R&A TV over the coming weeks.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals of The Amateur Championship will be broadcast live on Friday 21 June, before the all-important final is shown between 8:30am and 4:30pm on Saturday. The winner secures exemptions into The 152nd Open and next year’s US Open, and by tradition, an invitation to play in the Masters Tournament.
On Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June, the latter stages of the Women’s Amateur Championship will also be broadcast live on R&A TV, with the winner of that event receiving an exemption into the AIG Women’s Open.
The summer of live golf continues at The 152nd Open from 15-21 July, where R&A TV will broadcast feature group coverage, a par-3 channel highlighted by over 40 hours of live footage from the iconic Postage Stamp, Live at the Range and Open Radio.
That will be followed by the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews from 22-25 August, where live coverage will be available to view in the UK on Sky Sports and R&A TV. AIGWO Radio will also be broadcast to listeners around the world.
The summer of live golf on R&A TV will then conclude with live streaming of the 43rd Curtis Cup between Great Britain & Ireland and the United States from 30 August to 1 September.
R&A TV is also the home to a vast archive of videos from The Open, AIG Women’s Open and R&A amateur championships, as well as exclusive new content such as Rick Shiels Battle Golf and One Club Coaching videos with Phil Kenyon, Dr Bob Rotella and Alex Elliott.
