Overview

Hoylake has experienced nearly every type of weather in the build-up to Championship week. Thunderstorms, prolonged spells of rain, strong winds and even some sun have hit the Wirral Peninsula over the last fortnight. After a dry start to Open week, rain has been an increasing factor over the weekend.
