Austen Truslow will make his debut at The Open after securing his place through Final Qualifying at Burnham & Berrow, where he finished T3 to book his spot at Royal Birkdale.
The American turned professional in 2015 after a collegiate career at Rollins College and has since competed across the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia and Asian Tour.
One of his highlights came at the 2019 Puerto Rico Open, where he finished T10 and produced a hole-in-one in his final round.
Truslow also recorded a T2 finish at the 2020 Lincoln Land Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour, and he earned his maiden professional victory at the 2026 Quinovic New Zealand PGA Championship.
He has twice before competed at the US Open, making his debut in 2023 before returning in 2025, and overcame a serious wrist injury as well as the chipping yips to continue his career.
