The Norwegian topped the leaderboard alongside MJ Daffue on 12-under at the Kent coast and will now be part of the field at The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale.
Skogen turned professional in 2024 following a successful collegiate career at Texas Tech University, where he was a team-mate of former world number four Ludvig Åberg.
He earned a playing card for the HotelPlanner Tour for the 2025 season after progressing through DP World Tour Qualifying School.
As an amateur, he represented the Continent of Europe in the 2019 Jacques Léglise Trophy, helping his side to victory against Great Britain & Ireland.
The 24-year-old had planned a summer road trip around Europe with his parents before qualifying for The Open, forcing him to swap his holiday for a debut major start.
