His stunning contribution to the Springboks’s Rugby World Cup triumph in 2007 is stuff of legend, and led to him being crowned World Rugby Player of the Year.
A winger with awesome speed, he went on to become South Africa’s all-time leading try scorer and the tied top try scorer in the history of the Rugby World Cup.
Habana, who started his career with the Golden Lions and retired in 2018 after five years with French side Toulon, is now a Global Development Ambassador for the R&A.
Fans will be able to watch him in action when he tees it up at the Heroes Classic at Royal Birkdale.
