Charles Huntzinger is aiming to earn his first Open appearance when he competes in the inaugural Last-Chance Qualifier at Royal Birkdale.
The American turned professional in 2019 after attending Penn State University and during his amateur career he won two collegiate events in 2016.
He captured the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate by two strokes, finishing at 13-under for the 54-hole tournament and then won the Dogwood Invitational by one stroke, shooting 17-under over four rounds.
Huntzinger enjoyed a a T4 finish at June's Blot Play9 on the HotelPlanner Tour and also managed a T5 result at the 2026 Challenge de España a month earlier.
