David Puig

Back at The Open for the second time having claimed his maiden DP World Tour victory at November's BMW Australian PGA Championship.

His fine form continued into early 2026 as he shared third in the Dubai Invitational and seventh at the Dubai Desert Classic in successive weeks.

Puig has played on the LIV circuit since 2022, as well as recording Asian Tour successes in Singapore and Malaysia.

After making his Open debut at Royal Troon two years ago, Puig recorded his best major finish to date at this year's PGA Championship, placing T18 at Aronimink.

He played in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2018 and was the joint fourth best individual at the Eisenhower Trophy World Amateur Championship in Paris in 2022, one stroke ahead of Ludvig Aberg.
