Eugenio Chacarra

Eugenio Chacarra won back-to-back on the DP World Tour in June 2026, with the second of those victories earning him a place at The 154th Open.

The Spaniard claimed his place at Royal Birkdale with an emphatic five-stroke victory at the DS Automobiles 83° Open d'Italia. One Open spot was on offer at the event as part of the Open Qualifying Series (OQS).

The triumph came just three weeks after his success at the KLM Open, where he finished one clear of closest challenger Oliver Lindell in Amsterdam.

He made his breakthrough on the tour by winning the Hero Indian Open in March 2025.

Chacarra claimed a fourth title on the DP World Tour when he triumphed in the DP World India Championship in October 2026.

Royal Birkdale was his first appearance at golf’s original championship, where he finished T46.
