Jiho Yang

Jiho Yang booked his spot at The 154th Open after winning The 68th KOREA Open Golf Championship at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club.

After shooting rounds of 65, 67 and 67, Yang was able see home the victory with a score of nine under – four shots clear of Sweden’s Charlie Lindh – despite carding a final-round 76.

It was Yang’s third win on Korean PGA Tour following his successes in the 2022 KB Financial LiiV Championship and the 2023 Hana Bank Invitational Championship.

Yang subsequently took the one place on offer for Royal Birkdale with the KOLON Korea Open being part of the Open Qualifying Series.
