Lev Grinberg claimed his place at Royal Birkdale after being crowned winner of The Open Amateur Series in June.

The teenager’s victory at the St Andrews Links Trophy, in addition to his performances at The 131st Amateur Championship and The European Amateur Championship, saw him top the standings.

Since its introduction in 2023 the player who receives the most World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) points across the three events wins The Open Amateur Series and gains a spot at The Open.

This summer’s Championship in Southport will represent Grinberg’s first major appearance.
