The Spaniard was the lowest amateur in the AIG Women's Open field, finishing T8 on four-under-par.

This finish was in no small part helped by five straight final-round birdies from the 11th, for what turned out to be the lowest back nine of the week (30).

She qualified for the AIG Women’s Open by winning The Women’s Amateur Championship in Nairn last June.
