Sam Easterbrook

Sam Easterbrook will compete in the Last-Chance Qualifier having narrowly missed out at Final Qualifying for The 154th Open.

The Englishman had been involved in a three-man Final Qualifying play-off featuring eventual winner Matthew Jordan and Joe Dean at West Lancashire.

The Olton golfer, who is a student at Purdue University, recently reached the quarter-finals at The Amateur Championship at Royal Liverpool.

A T2 finish in April at the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational has been Easterbrook’s best finish of the year so far, 14 months on from his one-stroke victory at the Puerto Rico Classic.
