Three places for The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale are available at the Australian Open as part of the Open Qualifying Series.

The tournament takes place at Royal Melbourne from 4 -7 December, with the top three finishers not already exempt securing a spot at the Championship in July 2026.

In 2024 Ryggs Johnston won with a score of 18-under-par, and Curtis Luck and Marc Leishman joined him in earning a place at The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush.

The Australian Open is part of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and the DP World Tour.
