Three qualifying places for The 155th Open will be available at the Capital.com Australian Open in December.

The spots will go to the three highest placed finishers who make the cut, providing they are not already exempt for July's Championship in St Andrews, as part of The Open Qualifying Series (OQS).

The Capital.com Australian Open will take place at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Victoria, Australia, from 3 to 6 December 2026.

In 2025 Adam Scott secured his 26th consecutive Open appearance when he qualified for Royal Birkdale via the event.

Scott was joined by Michael Hollick and Si Woo Kim in earning a coveted place in Southport for The 154th Open last year.
