The Open Qualifying Series Spain

The Open Qualifying Series for Royal Birkdale will get under way with the Open de España presented by Madrid.

Taking place at Club de Camp Villa de Madrid between 9-12 October 2025, the DP World Tour event offers one place – to the leading player not already exempt – into The 154th Open next July.

Angel Hidalgo [below] won the Open de España in 2024, edging out three-time winner Jon Rahm following a play-off.

Champion Golfers Francesco Molinari, Padraig Harrington and Seve Ballesteros are among the other previous victors.
