The Open Qualifying Series USA

One Open qualifying place will be on offer at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday.

The PGA TOUR event, taking place at Muirfield Village in Ohio, is included in The Open Qualifying Series (OQS). The highest placed finisher who makes the cut, and is not already exempt for The 155th Open, will claim a spot at St Andrews.

In 2026, JT Poston won the event to qualify for Royal Birkdale. Trailing Ryan Gerard by one stroke approaching the 72nd hole, he launched an 8-iron to within a few feet of the pin before rolling home the birdie putt to force a play-off. From there he was triumphant on the second extra hole.
