Tyrrell Hatton

Moved into the world’s top five for the first time with a commanding four-stroke victory in the 2021 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the win coming just three months after he captured the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth by the same margin. 

In 2020, Hatton landed his first PGA Tour title at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, only his second event back from wrist surgery.

He made his Ryder Cup debut in 2018 in Paris, where he and Paul Casey beat then-world No.1 Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler, and was also part of the 2021 side at Whistling Straits.

Joint fifth in the 2016 Open at Royal Troon, his maiden Tour success came the same season at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, including a course record-equalling 62 in the third round at St Andrews. He retained that title in 2017 before adding the Italian Open the following week.

His 2018 efforts included a tie for third at the WGC-Mexico Championship, joint sixth at the U.S. Open, joint 10th in the PGA Championship and second place at the Dunhill Links, where he was trying to become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2001 to win a DP World Tour event three years in a row.

Hatton finished runner-up to Scottie Scheffler in March’s Players Championship, covering his final nine holes in a seven-under-par 29.
