The Open Qualifying Series Singapore

Joohyung Kim, Richard T. Lee, Poom Saksansin and Ryosuke Kinoshita all earned places in The 149th Open at Royal St George's through their finishes in the SMBC Singapore Open at the Serapong Course.

A trio of players who were already exempt finished in the top three positions of The Open Qualifying Series Singapore event, with 2017 Open runner-up Matt Kuchar winning the title ahead of Justin Rose and Jazz Janewattananond.

That meant the four qualifying places went to the next-highest finishers. Kim, Lee, Saksansin and Kinoshita will now be part of the field at Royal St George's in 2021.

Since the first Singapore Open in 1961 a host of big names have tasted victory including Adam Scott, Angel Cabrera and Ian Poulter, with Sergio Garcia taking home the trophy in 2018.

In 2019 Janewattananond, Yoshinori Fujimoto, Prom Meesawat and Doyeob Mun qualified for The 148th Open at Royal Portrush.
