The Open Qualifying Series

The Open Qualifying Series (OQS) offers golfers around the world opportunities to book their place in golf’s original Championship.

Each OQS event offers places in The Open to the highest-placed finishers who are not already exempt.

The schedule for 2024, together with the number of qualifying places available at each event, is shown below.

23-26 November 2023: Joburg Open (3 places secured by Dean Burmester, Darren Fichardt and Dan Bradbury)

30 November - 3 December 2023: ISPS Handa Australian Open (3 places secured by Joaquin Niemann, Rikuya Hoshino and Adam Scott)

15-18 February 2024: The IRS Prima Malaysian Open (3 places available)

7-10 March: The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard (1 place available)

23-26 May: Mizuno Open (3 places available)

30 May - 2 June: RBC Canadian Open (3 places available)

6-9 June: the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (1 place available)

20-23 June: KOLON Korea Open (2 places available)

20-23 June: KLM Open (2 places available)

27-30 June: Italian Open (2 places available)

2 July: Final Qualifying (minimum 16 places available)

4-7 July: John Deere Classic (2 places available)

11-14 July: Genesis Scottish Open (3 places available)
