Final Qualifying venues for The 155th Open have been confirmed, with four exceptional courses set to welcome golfers from across the globe in 2027.
Players will compete at Gailes Links, Prince’s, Burnham & Berrow and West Lancashire for a place in the field when golf’s original championship returns to St Andrews next year.
The 155th Open will take place from 11 to 18 July 2027, five years on from Cameron Smith’s famous triumph at the home of golf.
Gailes Links last welcomed Final Qualifying ahead of The 146th Open in 2017 – the year Jordan Spieth lifted the Claret Jug after a memorable week at Royal Birkdale. For Prince’s, next year will mark the first time the course has staged Open qualifying since 2022 when it was one of the Final Qualifying venues for The 150th Open at St Andrews.
Burnham & Berrow and West Lancashire are both among the Final Qualifying venues for The 154th Open this summer, and will continue in 2027.
Final Qualifying is one of a number of routes players can take into The Open. Further information around qualifying for The 155th Open at St Andrews will be confirmed in due course.
