Kristoffer Reitan enjoyed a breakout year on the DP World Tour in 2025.
The Norwegian tasted his first victory at the Soudal Open in May, where he overcame a nine-shot deficit before beating Ewen Ferguson and Darius Van Driel in a play-off.
That maiden win was one of eight top-10s in an eye-catching campaign which also included runner-up finishes at the Hainan Classic and the Austrian Alpine Open, and a T5 placing at the Alfred Dunhill Links.
Reitan made his first appearance at The Open in 2025, finishing T30 at Royal Portrush; and his consistency on the European circuit means that he has also qualified for The 154th Open, at Royal Birkdale in 2026.
Reitan is the same age as compatriot Viktor Hovland, and was successful with him in the 2014 Toyota Junior World Cup in Japan.
They were teammates again four years later at the Eisenhower Trophy world amateur team championship at Carton House in the Republic of Ireland, Norway finishing joint fifth in a week which saw twins Nicolai and Rasmus Hojgaard help Denmark to the title.
That came only a month after Hovland had become US Amateur champion and in the same year that Reitan was the first player from their country to qualify for the US Open.
