The American first featured at The Open in 2011 at Royal St George’s, where he finished T48.
He then registered his best finish six years later at Royal Birkdale, where he placed T44.
The former World No. 1 amateur golfer, who won the US Amateur on his 21st birthday in 2010, has five professional wins to his name, the most recent of those coming on the Asian Tour in 2024, where he won the International Series England and International Series Qatar in August and November respectively.
Uihlein's other wins came across the DP World and Korn Ferry Tours between 2013 and 2021 before he moved to LIV Golf in 2022.
Uihlein finished T56 at this year’s US Open; his first major start since the 2018 PGA Championship.
