Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen will make his Open debut in 2026, qualifying for Royal Birkdale through his 15th-place finish on the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai Rankings.

The Dane enjoyed a terrific European campaign in 2025, registering seven top-10s, including a runner-up finish in the Qatar Masters in February and a T3 finish in the season-ending DP World Tour Championship – won by Matt Fitzpatrick – in November.

Neergaard-Petersen was runner-up at the PGA TOUR’s Peurto Rico Open before finishing T12 at the US Open alongside major winners Adam Scott, Brooks Koepka and Xander Schauffele, Champion Golfer of the Year in 2024.

Neergaard-Petersen won three times on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2024, which earned him immediate promotion to the DP World Tour.
