All tickets for The 153rd Open will be delivered digitally. You will receive an email from us inviting you to download The Open Tickets app containing instructions on how to access and view your tickets.
- Download the latest version of The Open Tickets app onto your smartphone. Previous versions will no longer work for this summer's Championship.
- Create an account in the app with the email attached to your hospitality booking. Your email is linked to your hospitality tickets. If you create an account with a different email, you will not be able to view your hospitality tickets.
- Once your hospitality tickets appear successfully in The Open Tickets app, you will be able to transfer your hospitality tickets to guests by entering their email address into the transfer section. Your guests will also need to download the app and create an account to receive and view their hospitality tickets.
- A QR code will appear on your hospitality ticket within 36 hours of attendance at The Open, which will be scanned upon entry to the venue. Your hospitality ticket will provide VIP lane entry to the course on arrival. Please look out for VIP signage and have your ticket ready for scanning.
- We strongly recommend that all guests have their own hospitality ticket on their own smartphone to ensure seamless entry through the gates and check-in to hospitality areas. However, if a member of your party does not have access to a smartphone, their hospitality ticket can be held on the smartphone of another party member and they can enter the venue together. If you choose to do this, please note that all guests exiting The Open venue and returning later on must present both their digital ticket and re-entry wristband when returning.
All digital hospitality tickets will be scanned at the gate. Once inside the venue, look out for the yellow finger posts to find your hospitality entrance, where you will be asked to scan your digital ticket a second time. Following scanning, you will be directed to the reception for check-in. Here you will be given a wristband that will provide you with access to your hospitality experience throughout the day.
There will be a VIP lane entrance available for hospitality guests at selected gates. Show your digital ticket to gain entry to The Open venue. Once inside the venue, please look out for the yellow finger posts to find your hospitality area.
Tickets cannot be transferred to another guest once they have been scanned into the venue. If you intend to exit the venue and return later on, ensure that you ask for a re-entry wristband upon your initial exit. This wristband must be shown along with your digital hospitality ticket when you re-enter.
