Engravers is one of our most exclusive, fully inclusive premium experiences at The 153rd Open. Set against the stunning backdrop of Royal Portrush’s 2nd hole, you will enjoy superb on-course views of the action as the world’s best start their round. Before or after your meal, you are ideally placed to get out amongst the crowd and walk the course.
You and your guests will be treated to the finest cuisine throughout the day including a full Irish breakfast, four-course à la carte lunch and our traditional Open afternoon tea.
Engravers is located in the Origins Pavilion on the 3rd level, overlooking the 2nd hole.

Dunluce Rest is your hospitality stop on course, allowing for refreshments while on the go. Located by the 14th hole, you can drop in for snacks, beer, wine, and soft drinks. Tea and coffee will be available also. Dunluce Rest will be open from 8:30am to 7.00pm with the bar closing at 6.30pm. The balcony will remain open once the facilities close at 7:00pm, ensuring you can enjoy play until the last groups of the day have passed.
You will require your hospitality wristband to gain access to Dunluce Rest as provided upon checking in to your hospitality suite. Please note that Dunluce Rest might at times be busy and could be closed for further entries. Our dedicated event staff will be able to assist with more information on the day such as estimated peak times.
Dunluce Rest will not have any dedicated toilets, and the nearest toilets will be available in the Spectator Village by the 15th hole fairway.
The Origins Bar houses our state-of-the-art Toptracer simulators and is located on the top floor of the Origins Pavilion. Stop by for a swing and play Calamity, Royal Portrush’s famed par 3. The area is open to all in the Origins Pavilion from 8:30 - 7pm, with beer, wine, and soft drinks available between 11 – 6:30pm.
The Cafe & Viewing Area is located on the middle floor of the Origins Pavilion providing views out onto the 2nd green and the par 3, 3rd hole.
Enjoy specialty coffee, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The area is open to all in the Origins Pavilion from 8:30 - 7pm with the bar open from 11 – 6:30pm.
A manned cloakroom will be available at the Origins Pavilion Reception. The cloakroom will be open between 8:30 - 7pm. Here you can leave your purchase from The Open Shop, a coat or bag. Please ensure your belongings are collected before 7pm. Please note that any items left in the cloakroom are done so at your own risk, and The R&A will not take any financial responsibility for replacing them.
There is no strict dress code in our hospitality areas, but we advise that you dress in smart casual or golf attire. Smart shorts and denim are allowed. Comfortable shoes are recommended – golf shoes with soft spikes and smart trainers are permitted in all our facilities.
It is advisable to remind your guests to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat in case of hot weather and umbrellas or waterproofs in the event of rain.
Your Engravers package includes a live Q&A with a past or present player on all days of the Championship. On Thursday, we will be joined by Darren Clarke, on Friday by Graeme McDowell, on Saturday by Sir Nick Faldo and on Sunday by Tom Watson.
Once on-site, please check in with our event staff on arrival and they will confirm Q&A timings for your day in attendance.
