Champions at The Open is a dream come true for any golf fan - offering unrivalled access to the course and players, as well as world-class hospitality away from the crowds.

Built with the golf enthusiast in mind, this spacious experience takes you behind the scenes at Royal Portrush and delves into the history and unforgettable stories of the Champions Golfers.

One of Northern Ireland’s golfing heroes – 2011 Champion Golfer Darren Clarke - has countless fascinating stories and will join guests to talk about his golfing memories on Thursday.

Reserved seats in the 18th Green Grandstand guarantee superb views of the world's greatest golfers as they finish their rounds.

Champions is located in the Champions Pavilion on the ground floor, overlooking the Par 3, 13th green.

Dress Code

There is no strict dress code in our hospitality areas, but we advise that you dress in smart casual or golf attire. Smart shorts and denim are allowed. Comfortable shoes are recommended – golf shoes with soft spikes and smart trainers are permitted in all our facilities.

It is advisable to remind your guests to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat in case of hot weather and umbrellas or waterproofs in the event of rain.

 

Your Champions Q&A Experience

Your Champions package includes a live Q&A with a past or present player on all days of the Championship. On Thursday, we will be joined by Darren Clarke, on Friday by Graeme McDowell, on Saturday by Sir Nick Faldo and on Sunday by Tom Watson.

Once on-site, please check in with our event staff on arrival and they will confirm Q&A timings for your day in attendance.
